When adding properties, please also add them to to Category:Tools when appropriate.

A template for a tool info box.

Template parameters[Edit template data]
This template prefers block formatting of parameters.
Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Name	`name`	The tool's name	Line	required
Common Name	`common name`	An alternate, often more friendly name	Line	optional
Image	`image`	A picture of the tool	File	optional
Make	`make`	The name of the tool's manufacturer	Line	suggested
Model	`model`	The model/model number of the tool	Line	suggested
Serial	`serial`	The serial number(s) of the tool. Separate multiple entries by semicolons (;).	Line	optional
Specs	`specs`	A list of links to specs pages or PDFs of manuals. Separate multiple entries by semicolons (;).	Content	optional
Manual	`manual`	A list of links to manual pages or PDFs	Content	optional
Working	`working`	Is the tool currently working? (Yes or No) Default Unknown	Line	suggested
Requires Certification	`certification`	Does the tool require certification? Either a certification page, or the "No Certification Required" page Default Unknown	Page name	required
In Shop	`shop`	What shop does the tool belong to?	Page name	required
Asset Tag	`asset tag`	The asset number in the CMS inventory system. Separate multiple entries by semicolons (;). Example CMS00001	Line	suggested
