The CMS Amateur Radio Club (aka CMSARC or W1CMS) has a full operating station which may be used by Club Members in good standing who hold a valid FCC license granting them sufficient operating privileges.

Operating at W1CMS

Claremont MakerSpace members who are also members of the CMS Amateur Radio Club can operate the W1CMS station using their callsign up to their operating privileges. During special events, contests, and trainings you may be able to operate using the W1CMS callsign, provided that a control operator is available to supervise.

CMS Amateur Radio Club Associate members may be allowed to operate the W1CMS station at regularly scheduled operating sessions.

Certification

Certification is available by contacting the shop lead via the online ticketing system.
